David and Sarie Garrett

David Garrett started in the amusement industry in 1971 and began providing insurance solutions for carnivals, fairs and concessionaires in 1980. As an employee of the Myers Agency in San Antonio, Texas, Dave was well aware of the competition, Haas Wilkerson Wohlberg (as Haas & Wilkerson Insurance was known at the time).

According to David, “Customers of Haas Wilkerson Wohlberg were not shoppers. They tended to be very loyal. So price-cutting was the only way we had a chance of getting the business. Most customers stayed with Haas Wilkerson Wohlberg because of the incredible service extended.”

Haas Wilkerson Wohlberg agreed to serve the Myers Agency’s customers when the agency experienced some financial challenges in the early 1980s. That agreement called for the retention of many Myers Agency’s employees, including David and Sarie Garrett.

David and Sarie have now been with Haas & Wilkerson Insurance since 1985 and are known throughout the amusements industry for their knowledge and commitment to providing the absolute best service to Haas & Wilkerson Insurance customers. David is the western region sales manager and Sarie is manager of the amusements division.
