Flexible Spending Account (FSA)

  • Medical FSA
    Opportunity to pay for eligible medical, dental and vision expenses with pretax dollars, reducing taxable income.
  • Dependent Care FSA
    Opportunity to pay for eligible dependent care expenses with pre-tax dollars, reducing taxable income.
  • Limited Purpose FSA
    To use in conjunction with the HDHP for additional dental and vision expenses only.

Health Savings Account (HSA)

Current Provider: UMB
Coverage: Opportunity for those enrolled in the HDHP to pay for eligible medical, dental and vision expenses with pretax dollars.

Long-Term Disability

Current Provider: Mutual of Omaha
Coverage: 60% of current wages for disabilities lasting over 90 days upon approval by carrier.

Short-Term Disability

Current Provider: Self-insured
Coverage: 70% of base pay for disabilities lasting at least 15 days, up to 11 weeks.

Life Insurance

Current Provider: Mutual of Omaha
Coverage: $50,000 of life insurance coverage provided by the Agency 

  • Voluntary Coverage
    Current Provider: Mutual of Omaha 
    Coverage: Opportunity to purchase additional life insurance coverage and/or AD&D coverage for self and/or family members.

Retirement Plans

  • 401(k) Plan
    Provider: Principal Financial
    Coverage: Tax-deferred retirement savings plan allowing up to 100% of salary deferral that is fully vested immediately.
    Employer Matching Contributions: Discretionary matching contribution, with partial vesting beginning on your second anniversary.

Profit Sharing

Discretionary contribution made to your 401(k) account each year with partial vesting beginning on your second anniversary.

Paid Time Off (PTO)

Haas & Wilkerson provides a generous Paid Time Off benefit plan to all employees, based on years of service. The minimum accrual is 1.25 days per month (three weeks per year) for a new employee, beginning the first of the month following your date of hire.

Workplace Benefits

We strive to enhance our employees’ workplace experience by hosting a number of employee events each year—past activities have included bowling, picnics, massages, and participation in Corporate Challenge. Additionally, we host an annual Thanksgiving Pot-luck, an end-of-the-year Holiday Party, and periodically the ever-popular “beverage cart” makes a pass through our halls.
